Welcome to the 1906 Society

A Legacy Poured Forward

Copper Dome Whiskey began as a collaboration between spirited alumni & a visionary nineth generation distiller, Demetrius Cain. The 1906 Society was created to advance the shared vision of Nobletons Distilling House and Southeast Missouri State University—uniting heritage, craft, and community to empower students, strengthen education, and drive regional economic growth.

Grounded in Southeast Missouri’s agricultural and industrial foundations, the 1906 Society invests in scholarship and development that will strengthen the region for generations to come. For 120 years, the Copper Dome has reflected the pride and purpose of SEMO students and alumni — a legacy that continues to shape the region.
